TVR Grantura MK3:
Built around a brand new cast or billet upright, we have re-manufactured the lower pivot rods, inner drive flanges and stub axles and tested them extensively in our TVR Grantura MK3 race cars. The lower pivot rods are based on the original with a few minor changes and have been made from a modern, high strength steel alloy to increase its load capabilities and reduce flexing.
Our original pattern, ultra-strong stub axles are made from a high tensile steel alloy also used in aerospace & F1 applications. We have also made new original pattern splined inner drive flanges – manufactured out of a high strength steel alloy, matched to each stub axle before the parts are put on the shelf.
We use high quality Timken bearings, Nitrile oil seals and fixings to achieve maximum reliability. The original crush tubes have been replaced with our machined spacers and shims which can be tightened fully to increase life span and the reliability of the upright.
