Do you make parts for other cars?
Please contact us with your application and we’ll do our best to match your requirements.
We can make bespoke parts for any car. You’ll have to call us about that one.
Where are your parts made?
All our bespoke parts are designed at Retroracecar and made in the UK.
How are your parts tested?
All our parts are digitally prototyped on industrial design software to ensure tolerances are correct and then tested on the race track.
Is it possible to collect parts from you in Hampshire?
We’re very happy to see you at our workshop but please call a few days in advance to arrange your visit. We can also deliver parts to races we attend.
In which race series do you compete?
Ivan competes with his own TVR Grantura MkIII ’76 PRT’ in the Equipe GTS series for pre-1965 GTs. If you’re at one of the race weekends, please come and say hello and have a look at the car.
Are all parts kept in stock?
We try to keep as much stock as possible, but machined parts (for example fuel system, uprights and so on) take up to 15 days to make, and a chassis or body can take up to two months from order to dispatch.
Do you accept payment by credit card?
We’d prefer bank transfer but are happy to accept payment by debit or credit card.
Do you accept returns?
We will accept returns if the item is unused, in the condition in which it was supplied and in its original packaging and returned within 30 days of sale.
How can we help?
Retroracecar is based in Hampshire and was founded to support its owner, Ivan Hayward, in his racing exploits. The purpose of the business has always been to design and manufacture all the parts – from brackets to complete chassis and bodies – to enable Ivan to go racing. We now offer all these parts for sale in packages (for example running gear, complete fuel system etc) and are adding new parts to the inventory every year. Please read our About Us page and if you have further questions contact Ivan on 0044 (0)1420 562179 or [email protected]
